Our story
Our family was carried from Limestone County, Alabama to Waterford in Marshall County, Mississippi in 1857. By the 1900 census, Sam Malone and his brothers and sisters were living as a cluster of Malone households in Beat 5, Waterford. Their parents, born in Alabama, are the first generation of our family on record — and every one of us traces back to them.
